Do we really need that? Probably as much as we need another hole in the head. But I have decided to give it a try. I do, however, have to warn anyone who might read this, that it probably won't be updated as frequently as many of the other fine blogs you see around the Internet.
The subject of my writings will mainly be about my every day life and my crafting/quilting. I do a bit of knitting as well, but haven't gotten that much into it as I used to be, some 25 years ago. I also love to decorate my house, and at the moment I/we are really getting our hands on some of that. We've painted three rooms so far. And I'm getting a Room of My Own. Other than that I'm studying to become a teacher, am married and have three children. Two boys, 18 and 20 and a girl, who's 14. Oh, and then there's Rumle, the rough haired dachsen, who also lives here. And who owns the place. Of course. The place being in a small fishing village on the Western coast of Jutland in Denmark, by the way.
I do a bit of reading, apart from reading text books. This spring and summer I have actually taken up reading "ordinary" fiction, as compared to the many detective stories and memoirs I've read over the past years. Some of the novels I've read, I've learned about via various blogs, for instance Fingersmith by Sarah Waters. One of the best books I've read in years. I also listen to a lot of music and am bound to mention R.E.M. more than once, as they are my all time favourite band. But I also love Tom Waits for instance. I listen to BBC Radio 2 a lot. Mark Radcliffe is my favourite, but as the show is on so late I have to "listen again" the next day.
